This error may be encountered while generating code for the TwinCAT 3 environment using SIMULINK. To fix the error follow the procedure given here:-

The above procedure may not work if there is already a Windows Driver Kit installed. If the driver kit is already installed, uninstall it, restart your PC and follow the above procedure.
